Description
My client, an established supplier of software, engineering and information systems to the ESA and Defence/Aerospace industry are looking for 2 experienced Software Engineers to assist in the development of the BepiColombo onboard software (ESA’s mission to Mercury).
Requirements
It is expected that the software will be a mixture of Ada and ‘C’. The expected timeline for the initial activities will be 12 months, but it can be expected that there will be extensions to these contracts.
The software engineers will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, but there will be emphasis on the coding/test activity for specific modules.
My client is looking for a minimum of 2 years spent developing real-time / embedded onboard software in both ‘C’ and Ada for space applications, familiarity with ECSS standards.
1553 and Spacewire experience is advantageous. Previous exposure to the full development lifecycle along with Fluent English and a basic ability to converse in French are highly sought.
