Description
Contract Administration
- Contract preparation and negotiation
- Manage Customer background & credit checks
- Contract tracking and record management
- Research & reporting as necessary
Sales Administration
- Support proposal creation
- Track sales activities & manage sales records
- Follow-up with customers as required
- Maintain customer data
- Support forecast development
- Interface with engineering on capacity reporting
- Develop reports and materials for periodic management review
Marketing support:
- Facilitate N. American marketing initiatives
- Research of satellite industry information sources via published and unpublished databases.
- Support development of press materials
- Create & publish printed materials
- Coordinate & manage N. American trade-show exhibits
- Coordinate N. American trade-show travel & accommodations
Office Management and Administration oversight.
- Provide interface to GE host organization and building landlord
- Coordinate insurance and lease contracting
- Support accounting
- Manage procurement of office supplies and travel arrangements, etc.
- Manage IT support, and logistics
General
- Attend management meetings & track actions
- Support senior management team on completion of managerial tasks.
- Support overall operation in agreement with GE compliance requirements.*Other ad hoc tasks as necessary
Requirements
Basic/Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of demonstrated track record in satellite communciations industry.
- In-depth knowledge of satellite industry information sources.
- Relevant experience in contracting
- Familiarity with sales cycle processes
- Direct experience in office operations
- Expert with computer based word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
Eligibility requirements:
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
Desired Characteristics:
- 5+ years of demonstrated track record in satellite communciations industry.
- Candidate must be a demonstrated self-starter able to work autonomously
- Knowledge of accounting processes
- Familiarity with trade show activities*Knowledge of IT principles
