Description
Position Summary
To provide program management for any of Intelsat’s external and internal customers’ programs and projects. Manage all phases of infrastructure programs, including budget, program staff, and interfacing with contractors, vendors, and customers. This encompasses the management of Statement of Works development, contract negotiations, schedules, procurement of equipment, provisioning of circuits, staff resources, and installation and testing activities.
Extend program management oversight to provisioning of new customer services and special events. Oversee any engineering design, costs, equipment procurement, service commissioning, and customer acceptance.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or related technology.
- A minimum of seven (7) years related experience; or 10 years related experience with two years of college.
- Experienced program management responsibility related to the deployment
- large, complex communications systems. Demonstrable experience in
- naging schedules, budgets, staff resources and customer expectations.
- Significant experience in analysis, planning, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Management of complex implementation programs/ projects for satellite
- sed video services, data services, or RF/TT&C services.
